Sagittarius is the most impetuous sign of the zodiac. The Sun is now in Sagittarius and being ruled by Jupiter is fiery and expansive. Sagittarius are very enthusiastic and they are truth seeking. They have a flexible nature but are not terribly diplomatic.

We have a choice between being optimistic and pessimistic.  That is our choice. Time Waits for No Man

There is a limit to power.  We as human beings have limited power in the greater scheme of things.  We must work within our limits to make changes and mitigate events.  “Free will” is available to us but we have to reach for it.  When we use “free will” we take some control over our destiny.  Our destiny is a dual responsibility of “free will” and “higher influences.”  

We are given a set of tools to work with and what we do with them is within our control.  We may not get to choose the tools that we are given but the application is at least partially up to us. Intelligence is an excellent tool but it should be balanced with wisdom.  Today, intelligence is often misused.  Wisdom is the ability to integrate time and space.

Take the long road.  You can obtain everything is you use foresight and patience.  Not to mention that the trip will be much smoother.  Removing excessive anxiety from your lifestyle pays big dividends.  It allows you stay youthful and this is a benefit for the long haul.

Decide where you stand.  Now is the time to make a commitment. If you don’t have a preference, you still need to make a choice.  You can no longer straddle the fence of indecision.  Every choice has advantages and disadvantages.  You pay for what you want and you pay for what you don’t want.

This will be an especially significant week as there will be big changes that finally see the light of day.  There has been a lot going on behind the scenes but the “powers that be” are alerting the masses.  It is becoming harder and harder to identify the illusory.  There are two powerfully determined opposite points of view.  Which one is the alternate reality?  Only you can decide.

This may be a good time to come to terms with past hidden secrets.  You have to face them openly. It is a good time for healing any old wounds that have held you back.  You are in the mood to forgive but not to forget.

Tempus Fugit

You may find yourself backing into a bigger hole than expected.  You have done an amazing job staying above the political fray but in the meantime another sink hole has opened up. Complications can persist if you don’t reveal your true self.  You have only one mission and that is to be the best “you” that you can be.  Let higher influences be your guide.  Don’t compare yourself to others. Most important of all, is to be your own friend.

Leaders are often not the people with the title.  Be aware that people who have influence with others are often not “the boss”.  Make sure you respect all others as your destiny may depend on it. Be impartial in your judgments.

Titans of Industry

You may be the recipient of some big idea.  It just pops into your head and you think about running with it. Only you can be the judge in determining if this is a good or bad idea.  Look before you leap.  Remember that patience is the only virtue.  Brainstorms can be promising but let the facts fall into place first. Many good outcomes have been damaged by impetuous strategies.

The Sun in Libra is always trying to balance what is going on in the surroundings.  Libra tries to ascertain truth but without becoming a truth serum.  In fact, Libra leans toward softening truth more than any other sign. They are diplomatic to an extreme, anything to keep the peace.

Overall, this week should be a good one for tying up loose ends.  Some projects may have gotten off to a rocky start in the recent past.  Now is a good time to “test drive” them again and make any necessary adjustments. A Mustard Seed

Once you get past the initial shock of feeling like you are not appreciated, you can remind yourself that self- image has a lot to do with people’s perception of us.  You can’t get from other people what you don’t have yourself.  Everything seems to reflect whoever we are.  If you have the courage to reveal your true self, then others will feel comfortable with you. They will find that you are a reliable reflection.

This month proves to be a difficult one for just about everyone.  It can affect you on the physical, emotional or spiritual level.  After all, that is what upgrading your destiny is about.  That is what free will is about.  You have to experience life on a more subtle level.  The physical is the most taxing and the emotional is tiring also.  It requires that you expend a lot of energy. By implementing higher values, we have the opportunity to experience things in a much lighter way. Go lightly.

Part of going lightly is learning not to try and control the outcome of every situation.  Apply higher values and allow them to work for you.  Everyone has a good astrological chart if it is applied on a higher level.  When we descend to the physical and insist on a particular outcome, we interfere with higher influences.  Let go.

The Simple Contains the Complex

The French have a saying “think on death.” The reason to think on death is to become gradually aware that time is getting short.  You don’t have forever to achieve your goals.  Life requires some expediency.

Personally, I believe in reincarnation. It is hard to fathom making such an extraordinary effort in this life only to end up in the bone yard. Nature shows us that life is cyclical. Every end is followed by a new beginning. In astrology, it is “as above, so below” and “as below, so above.” By learning to harmonize with nature we decrease our stress and increase our possibility for success.

It might be wise to remember that when we come back, we will be confronted with the same issues that we left behind. We’ll have a new set of wheels but we’ll have to pick up where we left off. The bottom line is that we really can’t kick the can down the road far enough to be unaffected by it.

You think you can leave and everyone will just forget about it. But when I look into the eyes of my fellow men and women, I know them. I’ve actually seen them before, not in this life but perhaps in a previous one. Karma is always at work. They owe you, you owe them. We pay for everything.

This thinking has led me to a more universal view of life. We as human beings don’t see the whole picture. We see a part of it based on our personal experiences.  Happiness comes from assimilating these experiences harmoniously with nature and without judging them.

Obsessive Compulsive

It appears that the crowd is not satisfied until they can come up with some answers.  Mind you, it doesn’t have to be based in reality.  Just something that puts an end to their jonesing for answers.  Of course, this is futile as seeking knowledge in the extreme is called the “hungry eye.”  Some things are better left unanswered especially if it requires a strenuous effort.  The integration of time and space will provide the answers needed in due time.

Take things slowly this week.  It is best to take time to assimilate changing circumstances.  Go slowly and you will arrive sooner.  Overreach may be an issue.  Try to stick to the facts and don’t embellish them in any way.  Further explanation may result in added confusion.  Less is more.

A special situation may be coming to a head.  It has been brewing for several months and has so far defied embracing any kind of solution.  You may have to give a few hints and hopefully others will pick up on them.  Create an idea that others can live with.  It may not be ideal but it will resolve this long standing impasse.

Organize carefully as you will have a great deal to do in the coming weeks. Your ability to focus is critical.

People may be asking how you did it. But ultimately the only thing that really matters is that you got the job done. Most accomplishments never see the light of day because there are too many egos involved.  The infighting creates a drag that cannot be overcome.  I never play politics but as a friend once said, “no politics is as politics.”  Either case has advantages and disadvantages as does everything in life.

It is impossible to know all the facts as even facts prove to be nebulous bits of information.  The big picture is influenced for years to come by the outer planets. This week proves to be an amazing week filled with anticipation and a little anxiety as well.  Strong skills of analysis kick in to meet every situation with the right measure. The two enemies are too much and too little.  Finding the center yields the best results.  This often requires a bit of trial and error but eventually you will come to the right measure.

Bring yourself to life.  You have been holding back the real you in recent months as the stress of putting yourself out there has advantages and disadvantages.  Forge ahead as only you can be you.  There are going to be people who agree and people who oppose you.  Or more to the point, a man/woman who has no enemies, has no friends.

Astrology is one of the best tools in understanding our fellow human beings.  It takes away a lot of resentment because it allows you put things in perspective and not take them too personally.  It helps you to see that behavior is predictable when you are a good observer.  Naturally, you have to synthesize to arrive at an anticipated modus operandi.

Make strides in clearing up any misunderstandings that have been dogging you.  It doesn’t mean you have to confront the situation directly.  Try rearranging the set.  Give a different perspective to yourself and others.  Things often become clearer when you change the scene.

Second Wind

It’s an excellent time to pay close attention to detail.  As per the saying, “the devil is in the details.” Take note of any unusual shifts in temperament of friends and co-workers.  We are all reassessing our point of view and making adjustments to our behavior based on external input.  This is a natural process that we undergo to become more in harmony with nature.  By aligning ourselves with nature, we achieve things in a swifter and more peaceful manner.

You can’t fight city hall.  Well, you can, but it may be a lengthy and draining experience.  Better to do an end around or find a back door.  This will eliminate any confrontations that may be irritating and difficult to deal with.  Seriously, do you want to be arguing with people on a daily basis?  Swallow your pride and focus on the work at hand.  Who gets credit for it ultimately doesn’t make any difference.

You may have the feeling that you have been here before.  Situations keep repeating themselves until you adjust your reaction accordingly.  Strive to maintain your inner peace under all circumstances.  People will regard you as a wise person so why open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Improve your chance of success by using foresight.  Don’t settle for a quick fix.  Take the long road and create a lasting benefit.  This gives you a strong foundation upon which to build.

 

Quantum Uncertainty

How much free will do we have?  “Less than you think you do, but more than you will ever use,” according to Zoltan Mason who was a brilliant astrologer as well as an amazing creator of illusion.  Basically, the past, present & future coexist.  That is why it is so difficult to engage” free will.”  The past gives us an idea of what to expect and we often act based on that expectation no matter how faulty our observations may be.  Change happens in the present and requires debunking some of our old notions.  By changing the present, we create a different future.  It is in the present that we access “free will.”

Man mostly lives in his unconscious. In a way, we are all locked in our unconscious.  By becoming aware we start to erode some of our inherited judgments.  We open up our mind to greater possibilities. Broadening our views allows us to participate in a wider range of activities and brings us into contact with more people.  Being exposed to more people brings about an enrichment of our daily lives. 

We have our goals. We want to get from point A to point B and along the way there are many opportunities for choice.  These choices are a realization of our beliefs and either move us toward our goals or obstruct them.  We need to work hard, be tenacious and be lucky.  But even when all of that doesn’t seem to move us forward…we have hope.  Hope is a living quality. 

The Fix is In

Never get mad…get even?  You may feel like you have had a tough few months.  You may have been on the brink but managed to contain any feelings of ill will.  This is to your credit.  It is difficult to curtail feelings of injustice but you must always keep your eye on your goal.  You don’t jeopardize what you set out to do just for a quick ego fix.

Self-management is the best form of control. Joining groups of people for any activity always takes a little bit of personal freedom away.  It is challenging to be yourself when you become a member of any group.  You have to embrace the group totally and in the process lose a little bit of your individuality.  This is a fair trade off for the company of others. Any group, family or organization has its price. Socialization is a difficult process and many people can’t conform.

Over the coming week you may still experience periods of anxiety and uncertainty.  This response may arise out of your inability to make a decision or come to a clear conclusion.  There is a lot going on in every aspect of your life.  Currently, there are emotional, psychological and physical upsets that create this unsettled feeling. Stay focused on the here and now.

Although you are experiencing a desperate need for change, the moment to take action has not arrived. It is this waiting period that drives feelings of inadequacy and uneasiness. Stay confident as you have done the hard work that will lead to a successful outcome.  Patience is the only virtue.

Why not pay for the whole package?  I often wonder why so many people refuse to do this.  It seems logical.  If you want something, it is not going to have all the qualities that you want but you shouldn’t lament this.  You have to choose and everything has advantages and disadvantages.  No one or any situation has everything. Priorities matter and you make choices based on your priorities and preferences.

Obviously, applying the right thinking and values to any situation make it more desirable.  But often our priorities and preferences stand in the way of a truly clear picture.  Our needs dictate the choices that we make.  Necessity is the mother of invention.  Foresight is a good tool to use when making decisions.  Look down the road and see what the results of your actions will be.

Clarity isn’t always present when we need it.  There is a fog that surrounds the issue at hand and it can be difficult to see the true nature of the problem.  Try to be patient and integrate time and space.  You will gain a more clear and objective point of view.  Don’t rush the outcome.

Feelings of insecurity may emerge as you are feeling overly sensitive to the reactions of people around you.  Mercury and Venus in Cancer tend you make us rather thin skinned.  These planets in Cancer also make us more aware of any changing conditions that might influence our personal choices.  

The Sun will be conjunct Jupiter this week so it is a good time to expand and develop any tactics that will help you to achieve your goals.  Being a good tactician is what winning the war is about.  You may win the battle but lose the war.  Think long term and see what moves make the most sense.

Focus on the details.  You have a beneficial perspective on how the pieces will come together to create the whole.  Synthesize.  Put it all together and come up with a hypothesis that seems to work.  You can take a chance on a creative idea.

No Smoking Gun

Just when you think you have found the source of your problem, you find that it is a lot more complicated than you thought.  When it comes to honing in on the origin of the problem, you find that there is never one cause, but many causes.  It is practically impossible to trace it back to any one event.  There are many causes for one effect, and many effects from one cause.  Unfortunately, single causes and effects are difficult to isolate.

Overall, things are going well but you are still confused.  You sense that people are trying to “plug in”.  I suppose that in society that “plugging in” is the common drive.  But what do people want to plug into?  Really the only thing that will advance your purpose is to plug into higher influences.  It is that kind of plugging in that gives you a clear view of the greater purpose of life.  It will be sustainable and create a greater self-confidence and fortitude.

You cannot serve God and Mammon.  You have to choose.  It doesn’t really matter which one you choose, it is the consistency that counts. You will always arrive at both but you do have to choose. There is no need to moralize as we are free to decide between the long and short path.  Neither is wrong.  It’s a matter of how much you want to pay.  God always sends someone who collects.

One Trick Pony?

You may feel like things are not interesting enough to maintain your attention and this leads to a lethargic and unproductive state of mind.  This is an illusion based on your own perspective. It happens to all of us from time to time.  We just can’t get an edge on anything and it all becomes boring.  We tend to be happiest when we are fully engaged in something or many things.  It keeps us sharp and involved and the day to day life is much fuller.

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel but you have to use your imagination.  You have to read between the lines.  You have to see what is there and you have to see what is missing.  Some notes of interest are found by scratching below the surface.  Usually, I would say to take things at face value, but now is a good time to delve more deeply into the matter. 

Clarity is achieved by directing your attention to the matter at hand.  Try to see everything.  Our lives are based on observation and those things that we observe are the building blocks of our life.  If we don’t get good results, the fault lies in ourselves.  We have to be excellent observers. When we are good observers, we know what to expect.  Foresight is the mother of invention.

Go to the root.  The answer is always contained in the question.  By understanding these mechanisms of behavior we all become good astrologers.

Don’t allow yourself to fall behind.  Although, this is a good time to center yourself and take note of the surrounding influences.  It is also a time to keep applying the hard work necessary to get the job done.  It’s easy to get lost in the maze of possibilities, so stay focused.

How much free will do we have? I was once told by my teacher that we have less than we think we do but more than we will ever use.  I have found through the study of astrology that this is often the case.  Some people think life is random while others see pre-destination.  Actually, we probably have more influence over our own lives if we make positive life style choices.  Genetics are a form of pre-destination.  We have the genes that we have, but our lifestyle choices have proven to have a great effect on our longevity and quality of life.

There are two branches of belief.  One where we accept our destiny as God’s will and we suffer and pray for an ultimately better outcome.  Then there is the branch, of which astrology is a part, where we believe that we were given the tools to make choices and to use foresight in making these choices therefore mitigating some unpleasant events in our life. 

The most difficult thing in astrology to comprehend is the influence of interferences.  These interferences can change everything.  That is why astrology is not an exact science but a soft science based on observation.  Astrology allows us the possibility of upgrading our destinies.

It is by understanding ourselves better that we are able to understand others.  Know yourself and your will know the others.

 

Deep Waters

There appears to be a rather wide gap between duty and entitlement.  More and more there is the prevailing notion that we can have what we want when we want it.  Often this creates a situation where some individuals are unable to control their emotions and actions.  We now enter, astrologically, a more contemplative period where we must examine the elements that have created these behavioral patterns.

This week promises that the reality of life sinks in to the deeper layers of our selves.  We begin to synthesize the elements that have led us to our current point in our destiny.  This is not only our personal destiny but our collective destiny as well.

Daily, our lives are changed irreversibly be events that we experience.  Some of the events are tragic and painful to experience and we can only feel a small measure of these events when they do not affect us directly.  We each much shape our lives according to experience but also knowing that some higher knowledge or wisdom exists that will help us continue a positive perspective.

This will be a good time to examine our inner fears and anxieties and to direct our thinking in a way that will benefit all human beings. The sense of suffering that we feel is part of the human condition.  We can only struggle to set a good example.  People learn by example.

The right hand should know what the left hand is doing.  This week starts out being slightly out of sync. Drop the word "should" from your vocabulary.  What should be and what is are two different things.  Put your theories to work on your own situation and forget about making any proclamations about others.

The past few weeks have given you a much greater perspective than you could have imagined.  Not only has it taken you down memory lane but it has also allowed you to analyse some of your experiences and to be more effective in your daily work.

Gradually you are learning to take things at face value. You may have been reading too much between the lines.  Generally, this is not efficient use of your time as you may be inserting some illusions that are not completely rooted in reality.

It is easy to fall into the "poor me" syndrome as no matter who we are...things could always be better.  Learn to be more greatful for the opportunities that you have. Although we may not think life is fair, it is usually fairer than we think. We all get something great to work with.

Try to give spirit and life to all those around you.  Your optimism will be contagious.  Remember that people who are good listeners have a lot of friends.  Listen carefully and you will gain needed information to go forward. Go slowly and you will arrive sooner.

A Real Barnburner

Sometimes things don't go as planned...and last week was a glaring example of just that. Sometimes you have to change yourself to make things different. At the same time you can't burn the barn down to get rid of a few pests. Distance yourself briefly from the problem and come back with a fresh approach.

Lucky days are ahead and many things that you thought were not possible are suddenly showing great potential.  You need to tie up the loose ends and move the plan forward.  Strike while the iron is hot. 

There seem to be some interferences in day to day matters that make continuity difficult.  Ease up on the others in your life and be willing to accept their point of view.

Overcome the tendency to control all aspects of your situation.  Allow for other influences to take you in a new direction.  Holding on too tight creates unneccesary tension.

Blazing Trails

We often forget that our future to some degree is in our own hands.  We have free will. We have less than we think we do, but more than we will ever use.  Basically, we have one friend and one enemy and that is ourselves.  We often place blame on others when we fail to get the results that we want.  We have to look in the mirror.  What is reflected back has a lot to do with who we are and not so much who the other players are.

Granted, life isn’t fair.  But it is up to us to put ourselves in the proper perspective.  It isn’t always easy. We are blind to our own short comings.  It is good to take a hard look at yourself and see what is really there.  Not only what is there, but also what is missing.

Getting comfortable in your own skin is the task of a lifetime.  You have to be bold to represent your true self.  You have to be fearless and you have to be confident.  Once you do this, decisions are easy to make.  You are using the right criteria.  You know yourself.  If you know yourself, you will know the others.  People basically have a lot in common.  They want many of the same things. 

Values are the things that differentiate us from others.  They are what give us our uniqueness.  Without being clear about what these are, you present of cloudy image of who you are.  Take the time to give clarity to your thoughts and actions.
