A Real Pistol

You find yourself at the forefront of unexpected circumstances. Suddenly, you are thrust into a new situation that you have not anticipated.  All this has happened while you have been gingerly backing away from some other unpalatable situation.  These traps seem to be the common theme.  Look to see what lies ahead and what lies behind.  Avoidance can be problematic.

It is important to move forward at this time.  Don’t allow circumstances to dictate your actions.  You must choose. You pay for what you want and you pay for what you don’t want.  Accept that there are advantages and disadvantages to everything.

The planetary influences may leave you feeling a bit ragged this week.  You need some down time that you simply haven’t been able to get.  Carve out some time for some uninterrupted enjoyment. Let go of any guilt that you feel in the process.

Don’t get sucked into other people’s agenda.  You need to stay focused on what you need to accomplish. It’s easy to procrastinate and avoid doing what must be done.  Do it yourself and don’t rely on others.  When you take a stand, you may alienate some.  Be brave and put the real you out there.  It is only then that people can know who they are really dealing with.

Better Late Than Never

Whenever you synthesize a horoscope, one of the most important things is to see what is there as well as what is missing.  In fact, that is true of all the things that we use to organize our lives.  The problem is that what is missing often goes unrecognized.  How can you know if something is missing if you don't know that it is missing.  We are trapped with our little bank of knowledge which often leads us to inaccurate conclusions.

That area between what we know and what we don't know can easily become a chasm. It becomes important to remain open minded. It is important to learn about the things that we don't know.  It's also a good idea not to spend too much time dwelling on the little that we do know.

The Element of Luck

You may be feeling a bit like the elephant in the room.  It seems that people are milling about having conversations around you but not with you.  This definitely leads to awkwardness for those wishing not to acknowledge you, but you feel a little left out, too.

Stop focusing on the current passing crisis and start to see that this is the beginning of something new.  Basically, you can’t be ignored.  You are a force and people just have to figure out how they are going to deal with you.  Some may be more creative than others.  Nevertheless, they will be coping with their own inner demons.  Try not to exacerbate it by pointing out their uneasiness.

Doors will now be opening that have seemed completely closed in the past.  Maybe it is just spring.  Everything needs to be aired out.  Opening doors is one way of doing it.  Be prepared to make a quick exit, however, if circumstances dictate it.  Be elegant about it. Go gracefully into the future.

Attitude is more important than altitude.  Keep your dignity and don’t overstate any egotistical points of view.  There is a temptation to let people know where you stand.  Don’t do it.  Play your cards close to your vest.  The best card may well be the one you haven’t played. 

A Fork in the Road

Things are taking a definite turn for the better.  With Jupiter having gone direct, advancement will now be possible.  Mars, on the other hand, is retrograde, so there will be some bumps in the road.  Don’t despair, just go step by step.

Take action in situations that have been lingering.  Eliminate problems that have been sitting on the back burner.  You need to clear the way for future performance.  You don’t want to be weighed down by previous dilemmas that keep you feeling uncertain and anxious.

In clearing the way, put some effort into it.  Give things the heave ho if they are no longer serving your purpose.  Travel light in the emotional sense.  Now is a good time to identify what makes you happy and what doesn’t.  Don’t hesitate to make some changes.

You have a more mature approach at the moment.  You are not being irrational or impetuous. Have confidence in the decisions that you are making.  Belong to yourself and dictate your own destiny.  You can’t control everything but you can guide your actions with the help of higher influences.  This results in a smoother path. 

The Devil is in the Details

Don’t go around half-cocked.  People will note your vulnerability and this may set off an unwanted reaction.  You are somewhat dissatisfied with the current state of affairs.  Don’t allow bad feelings to build up and risk overreacting to a situation that is not really threatening.  Your frustration may peak at an inopportune time.

Forewarned is forearmed. Take a good look at where you stand and prepare to defend it.  No one will knock you off your game if you have made a bona fide effort to do your best.  Your best is good enough. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. 

Pay close attention to details. If you are entering into a contract or personal agreement with someone, you may need professional representation.  Your view may be too subjective to see the whole picture.  Money will enter into the negotiation. Know the value of what you are selling and don’t hesitate to ask for it.

Matters surrounding your finances will clear up in the coming few months.  Get out from under any debt you have and make a plan for the next few years.  You may not always adhere to it, but at least you have a plan in place.  This gives you some forward guidance and will pay off.

Take some time for entertainment and recreation.

Curiosity Killed the Cat

These days it pays to belong to your-self.  If you leave your fate in the hands of another, you may ultimately be disappointed.  Take ownership over your actions and pay your own way.  Why not pay for the whole package? In any case, we pay for what we want and we pay for what we don’t want.  Make sure you get at least some of the things that are important to you. 

This week brings a thawing of emotions and is greatly appreciated.  You have been experiencing some irritation as you feel that you haven’t gotten the recognition that you truly deserve.  Don’t look for any payoff and you may be pleasantly surprised to find out how much you are appreciated.

Saturn’s visit in Scorpio is causing some unexpected aggravations.  It requires you to clean your house in an emotional sense.  It wants you to get more in touch with yourself.  Since you are digging, don’t dig half way.  You have to get to the bottom of it.  Don’t forget that you are only human.

Being human has some very dark corners and some very bright ones too.  Try to take advantage of the brightness but be mindful of the darkness.  The two co-exist.  Don’t go to extremes.  Life is a balancing act.

A Palindrome

Communication is a slippery slope.  We think we are communicating with precision only to discover later that our words have been misinterpreted. So how can we know that what we are saying is received the way that it was intended.  I don’t think there is really any fool proof way to insure it.  The best way of communicating with people is through example.  We all learn by example.  Time is the best story teller of all.  We have to wait for the results and we have to live our words.  Words have to become works.

By walking the walk, we become a force.  Not just an empty vessel.  We gain substance and people begin to realize that we have girth. We have a field of influence.  That is the source of real power.  It isn’t something that comes through having things.  It is an inner resource that has to be developed.  We have self- respect. We should be our true self in the most positive way.

Dial down your feelings of sensitivity.  We are all sensitive.  Try to be sensitive to other people’s feelings. You have to be able to take it.  Sometimes your feelings get hurt.  This is natural.  Don’t take it personally.  Take it lightly. Try to avoid developing grudges.  They clutter your path.
